Finally!

My camera died just as I joined this KAL... typical!

So no photos of my beautiful Lilac Socks :(.

Luckily my husband has a camera in his mobile, so here are at least some pictures.

These were for my dear Granny, for her birthday!

Thuja-socks from Knitty and...

... and the pattern for these is here. (Sorry, only in Finnish). I love the "jaywalkerish" feeling of these socks, but still there are differences. For example the yarn-overs create a nice lacy-like look in these socks.
So three pairs so far!

Sock update

The basic black ribbed cashsoft socks for DH are done. The thing that made them semi interesting is that they were done with a widdershins type heel - toe up and with heel flap that is in exactly the same place as it would be if done toe down. The pink ones (meant to be worn with the lacy cuff down) are from Favorite Socks.

Two More Pairs

Two more pairs done. Thirassia done with Panda Wool in the Baby Blues colorway. I really loved working with Panda Wool. Hope it wears well. I want more.

Monkeys, done with Sunshine Yarns Fresh colorway from the Spring sock club yarn.

Pairs 3 and 4

I've finished up two more pairs, this time with bamboo blend yarns.
Here's Pomotamus in Regia's yarn:

And Roza (Interweave Knits, Spring '07) in Online's version:

In summary, my 4 (pairs of) Socks for Spring:
I'm open to suggestions for summer sock patterns/yarns. In the meantime, I'll be knitting up some baby gifts and dreaming about lace knitting.

Socks, socks, socks

I should take pictures more often. The Lilac socks are done. The DH's lozenge pattern socks-that-I-despised making (that trekking yarn looks great in sunlight but in the house was a really hard color to knit) have one complete, one just needs kitchnering. The black toe up cashsoft socks are both on the cuff, the red ones will probably wind up in the frog pond and I am playing with the pink one.
